The Bridesmaid Burnout

It’s unclear when the job of being a bridesmaid went from being mildly annoying to being precipitously, obscenely, recklessly off the rails. We’re tired, hungover, broke, and itchy (see: chiffon), and we believe it’s time to reassess long-held beliefs about what it means to be a good friend and act in our own self-interest while keeping meaningful relationships intact.
